Welcome to Llain Arabians. Here we breed mainly Crabbet arabians, and high percentage Crabbets We also have a pure Polish breeding program. We feel that both the Crabbet and Polish Arabians have much to offer to the future of the versatile, ridden and performance Arabian horse. Erin Park Excel (Erin Park Thor/Erin Park Belle), our bay 100% Crabbet stallion has had his first foals last year, (have look on the foals page), we are very pleased with them both, and keenly await his first crop of 100% foals due this year, one out of Pearl Silva (Silver Domino/Pearl of Wisdom) and one out of Veletta Pearl (Silver Blue Ludo/Velvet Wings). We are looking forward to these 100% foals; we may even have a bay!! We have once again strengthened our 100% Crabbet gene pool with the purchase of Marbon Mastarpiece (Marbon Mastarifah/Marbon Mead), who will provide us with an excellent out cross for our Excel mares. He is a good looking well put together young colt, who has huge amount of white, and is sure to compliment our existing mare band and any that we will be lucky enough to breed in the future. 2009 finally saw us put our long awaited plans for our Polish breeding programme into effect. Our purchase of pure Polish colt Passionate Wisper BJ, (Wiper/SFA Passionata) in 2008 was the start of it. To compliment him we have imported three mares from Poland this year. Two mares from Janow Podlaski, and one from Bialka. The first mare to arrive early in the year was the extremely beautiful bay Janow bred Elestora (Europejczyk/Elsinoe); she is in foal to Excel for 2010. Our second arrived much later in the year, a grey Janow bred mare, Zapora (Ararat/Zamiana), with her foal at foot a chestnut filly, Zarina Llain, by Ganges (Monogramm/Garonna), she was well worth the wait and is a stunning young lady. While we were waiting for Zarina to be old enough to travel , we had Zapora covered by the son of two of Poland’s international superstars, Eldon and Pipi, the charismatic Piaff, who himself has been Polish National champion and top ten in the USA. Our third , arriving with Zapora, is the Bialka bred chestnut mare Emda (Metropolis NA/Elmina), she produced a foal to last years Polish National champion, and world top ten senior stallion, Esparto, who is probably the most accomplished son of the undefeated Triple Crown and twice Polish National champion, Ekstern. Esparto has achieved important show wins against the most elite competition across Europe and the Middle East. So, we eagerly await this years Polish foals. Our Polish horses have many performance lines in their pedigrees, many with race wins, they also have top level show lines, which shows, that you can have a beautiful, and a useful horse in one Arabian package. We do hope that crabbet breeders will come to see Excel in the flesh, as not one of the literally thousands of photos we have taken do him justice! Pam and Paul Flower Visitors are always
